Milpitas Police reported a series of arrests over the weekend involving DUI, robbery, and outstanding warrants.
Friday, December 5:
• At 3:55 AM, officers responded to a report of a driver asleep behind the wheel near E. Calaveras and S. Milpitas Blvd. The 23-year-old Milpitas resident was arrested for driving under the influence.
• At 10:10 AM, officers responded to a business near W. Calaveras Blvd after a man threatened employees with a knife and stole merchandise. The suspect, a 37-year-old from San Leandro, was arrested for robbery and related charges.
Saturday, December 6:
• At 1:53 AM, an officer stopped a vehicle for a code violation near S. Main St. and Serra Way. The 46-year-old driver from Cameron Park was arrested for DUI.
• At 9:32 AM, officers contacted a 34-year-old unhoused individual near the 800 block of Yosemite Way and arrested them for an outstanding drug-related warrant.
• At 12:39 PM, officers contacted a 49-year-old unhoused individual near the 10 block of S. Park Victoria Drive. They were arrested for an outstanding drug-related warrant.
• At 11:39 PM, a traffic stop near S. Main St. and Curtis Ave. led to the arrest of a 64-year-old driver from San Carlos for DUI.
Sunday, December 7:
• At 12:10 AM, a traffic stop near N. Gadsden Drive and Dennis Ave. resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old Milpitas driver for DUI.
• At 3:51 PM, officers responded to a solo-vehicle crash on the 1000 block of Sinclair Frontage Road. Witnesses reported the 21-year-old driver from San Jose was doing donuts shortly before the collision. The driver was arrested for reckless driving.
