SJPD Arrests Armed Suspect After Months-Long Investigation Cảnh Sát San José Bắt Giữ Nghi Phạm Có Vũ Khí Sau Nhiều Tháng Điều Tra

The San José Police Department (SJPD) announced the arrest of an armed suspect following a months-long investigation that began after a road rage incident in July 2025.

According to SJPD, officers initially responded to the area of Senter Road and Capitol Expressway after a suspect brandished a firearm at another driver during a near-collision. Detectives from the Assaults Unit launched a thorough investigation and successfully identified the adult male suspect involved.

Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for both the suspect’s arrest and a search of his residence in Hollister, California.

On October 28, 2025, with assistance from the Covert Response Unit (CRU), officers located the suspect in the city of Morgan Hill. When officers attempted to make the arrest, the suspect fled on foot. During the brief pursuit, a loaded firearm concealed in his waistband fell to the ground. Officers quickly recovered the weapon and took the suspect into custody without further incident.

A subsequent search of the suspect’s Hollister residence revealed an additional unregistered firearm.

The suspect was later booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on multiple charges, including brandishing a firearm and possession of unregistered weapons.

SJPD praised its Assaults Unit for their professionalism and teamwork in bringing the case to a successful conclusion.

“Great work to our Assaults Unit for successfully bringing this case to a close!” the department stated in a release.

Sở Cảnh Sát San José (SJPD) vừa thông báo đã bắt giữ một nghi phạm có vũ khí sau nhiều tháng điều tra liên quan đến một vụ va chạm giao thông suýt xảy ra vào tháng 7 năm 2025.

Theo SJPD, cảnh sát đã phản ứng nhanh đến khu vực Senter Road và Capitol Expressway sau khi một nghi phạm chỉa súng vào một tài xế khác trong lúc tranh cãi trên đường. Đơn vị Điều Tra Hành Hung (Assaults Unit) của SJPD đã tiến hành điều tra và xác định được danh tính người đàn ông trưởng thành có liên quan.
